Heritage negotiated a deal for the Energy Trust of Oregon to find a recipient of a Vestas V17 90kW wind turbine in Hood River, OR. Heritage arranged for the turbine owner to donate the turbine to the Council for Energy Resource Tribes in Denver. The turbine was decommissioned and shipped to California to be remanufactured by Heritage and Halus Power Systems. Yakama Power, the utilty for the Yakama Nation, agreed to take possession of the turbine in return for contributions to CERT's Native American scholarship program.
